Our work

Mercy Home was established with the aim of letting people know about the situation regarding problems faced by the poor, underpriviliged and marginalised communities in Pakistan. We attempt to create awareness about various issues regarding endemic poverty in Pakistan and particularly pressing concerns like bonded labourers working as modern-day slaves at brick kilns.

We have been working with bonded labourers to secure their release from brick kilns and help provide them relief and resettlement. We go further by providing these downtrodden and oppressed individuals by rehabilitating them, improving their well-being and helping them assimilate back into society with respectable work.

Our work also include a focus on health and education amongst these poor communities that are helped by donations we receive through our members and supporters across the globe. We provide regular medical checkups and treat poor patients with pre-existing conditions ensuring that they receive the vital care they need for free. We ensure that poor and underpriviliged children receive education in a safe environment and help with their education by enrolling them in respectable schools, institutions and hostels.

We also feed and accommodate orphans and widows, while also creating opportunities for microenterprise, developing assistance and training through seminars for marginalised men, women and the youth. This helps these individuals integrate well in the society with self respect and confidence.
